Are you yearning to take your fiction writing to the next level? Are you only at the beginning of your career? Are you seasoned, even published, but….?
You're frustrated because...
I get it.

I relate!
During many years of being a freelance writer, editor, and instructor, I’ve had seasons where I’ve struggled with the same problems you have and have even gone dormant with my own creativity.
These struggles led me (and my students and clients) to craft real-time solutions.
I’ve originated a number of tools for myself and hundreds of writers to bring their creative dreams into reality.
I’ve used these tools myself and enjoyed the tremendous benefits they bring to writers I work with at every level!
Imagine what it would feel like to...

to shape your ideas into form

All without feeling ungrounded, without imitating others’ structures, without the rigid box of outlines
*This is a unique and proven course offering you a clear path to your book design

Gwyneth Kerr Erwin's remarkable capacity to understand writers and guide them on the road toward understanding themselves and their writing craft is simply masterful. She is a writer's writer, par excellence!

A hundred kisses to Gwyneth Kerr Erwin for coming into my life with her green-inked suggestions and her perceptive questions forcing me to make my ideas clearer .... your understanding of me and your care of these teen mothers for the right words made this book possible.
Elaine Bell Kaplan Ph.D.
Author of Not Our Kind of Girl: unraveling the myths of black teenage motherhood
Gwyn is able to transport people out of their personal stasis. I know because she was my teacher. She provided the wisdom to move me from being a mediocre writer to the point now of beginning my eighth book.

INTRODUCTION: Are you lost? blocked? or not sure where to begin with writing the Fiction you long to create? Would you like to have a mentor, guide, teacher, or coach? Have you been 'burned' or disappointed by so-called writing coaches before? Are you looking for a writing coach you can trust?
My Introduction will help you get to know me and what I have to offer you!

Who are The Main Characters in your book (or short story) and how do they become the driving forces of your story, especially in Literary Mainstream Fiction? In this First Session, we focus on The Protagonist, who leads the story arc, and the three essential requirements they must have.

Who is the "foe" of your Protagonist, the second of the Main Characters in your story? The Antagonist is the character who will initiate and build up the challenges and obstacles that The Protagonist must face. Like The Protagonist, The Antagonist has three essential requirements, as well as the fatal flaw that can defeat her or him.

Did you know that love interest(s) are optional?
So why do we include them in our fiction work? In this session, we'll discover how they add depth, greater involvement for the reader: intrigue, mystery, while complicating the lives (as they do in true life) of The Protagonist and The Antagonist with whom they are aligned.

How do your Main Characters get the support they need in their individual quests? Session Four reveals the role and power of Supporting Characters:
Catalyst Characters are those who help "make things happen" in juicy, catalytic, and active ways.
Helper Characters are "sidekicks." They may assist any of the other characters with whom they are aligned.

Session Five delves into the Basic Five Story Elements that add vital layers and textures to the life of your fiction book: WHO, WHAT, WHERE (and WHEN), WHAT, and WHY.
Of the many possibilities of advanced story elements, there are three that you cannot do without! Find them here and enrich your work into an engrossing fiction that will profoundly engage our readers: Point of View, Tone, and Style.

If there's one thing I want you to remember, it's this:
Trust your heart's desire!
I understand doubts! I understand time constraints: jobs family, life necessities. My mother was a many times published author, who always cautioned me that while I needed "to have something of my own" also said, "You'll never make any money as a writer." There are many such echoes in all our heads. The answers to those voices are: "My voice DOES matter! I have something meaningful I need to say!" and "This is valuable to me and helpful to others!" Even if you second guess yourself, let's brave this together. I will help you succeed.
